KettleWorx - Cardio, Core And Resistance Workouts In One

My younger brother who is always interested in having a trimmed and fit body keeps on sending me emails about how great he's been doing using his new workout. He never fails to mention how kettlebell workout helps in achieving a better shaped body he's always dreamed of having.

Since my brother is obviously amazed with the product, maybe it's time for me to look into it myself. Searching through google about the product is never difficult as many are already blogging about this fitness sensation.

KettleWorx is what the entire workout is known for. It's a fun, easy and quick way of losing fat and building muscles with the use of a kettlebell. Just by looking at the product's photos, it looks like a small kettle (without the snout of course). It looks so easy that's why it has kept me wondering how a simple workout item like a kettlebell can make an individual fit and healthy.

Reading through, the idea behind KettleWorx is actually basic - for at least 20 minutes, three times a week by following 200 step by step unique exercises and 12 workouts using the kettlebell. Still confused? I suggest you watch this video to understand the whole system better:

Isn't the program interesting? It's so simple and fun and really effective! Now I understand why my brother's really into it. Soon - I will be, too!

I've Got My Own Elliptical Machine!

Going to the gym is something I've always wanted to do here in Sweden. However, due to my busy schedule, it's difficult to fit gym classes into my everyday life.

When my boyfriend decided to order a cross-trainer for me online, I was so overjoyed that I kept on counting the days until the item's home. Since the day my cross-trainer reached our doorsteps, I just could not let a day pass me by without stepping on it for at least 30 minutes.

Compact elliptical machines (such as my cross-trainer) help individuals to reach their goals of being fit and healthy by doing regular exercises - without the need of leaving home! So, if you feel like you are too busy to go to the gym or do not want to pay for a membership at the gym, I suggest that you get your own elliptical machine. You'll no longer miss a day without burning calories!

Turbulence Training For A Great Shaped Body

I know many men (and even some women) who want to not just lose weight. They also want to put their muscles in shape by undergoing extensive gym trainings for at least an hour each day. Since not all men have enough time to spend on the gym everyday, Craig Ballantyne, a strength and conditioning coach has released his Turbulence Training Ebook in order to let the people know that it is actually not necessary to work out everyday to achieve the desired results.

According to a Turbulence Training review which I have read online, following Craig's guidelines in his Ebook can really help an individual lose fat while boosting muscle growth at the same time. The Ebook teaches people to only perform 3 workouts each week. If you think that's amazing, here's the better part: that each training only lasts for 45 minutes! So if you are a busy person who's interested in having the a well shaped body, go get The Turbulence Ebook now!

Just Love My Crosstrainer!

As the roads are packed with snow these days (you can read more about my snow-flooded experience here), I find it so difficult to follow my exercise routine. On regular days when the walkway is clear and safe to walk on to, I go on breast-walking or jogging usually in the afternoon after attending classes in school. My daily exercise keeps me healthier and of course, in shape.

However, as it is too difficult to walk outside these days, I need to stop jogging for awhile until the roads are cleared again. Not wanting to miss a daily routine, my boyfriend ordered a cross-trainer for me (and for him, too) to satisfy my fitness needs. For those who do not know, I have ischemia (a type of heart disease) that is why I need to avoid adding up some pounds or else, I will end up having difficulties in breathing.

Anyway, I am just glad that nowadays, I no longer need to hit the streets of Sweden to keep healthy. I can just stay home and run as long as I want without leaving home.

If you are interested (like me) in working out, I suggest you buy a crosstrainer for yourself. Well, you can of course go for threadmills and other exercise machines which you feel will suit your needs. They are quite expensive but will surely be worth every penny.

My 5-Day Diet Program

Did you happen to be stressed out as a certain event will take place in just a few days and you're still feeling uneasy with the way you look and how heavy you feel? Try this five-day diet. It might just work for you!

Before starting, I want to let you know that I tried this method many times myself. Just like most people, I love to eat... rice, meat, cholates, ice cream, pizza, spaghetti... and the list goes on and on.

Most of the time, it is my tummy that shows immediate proofs of overeating. It's not much of a problem actually especially if I am just at home. My problem is that, I do not like to look so fat especially when I am going to attend parties and other events where I need (moreover, I WANT) to look sexy and well-formed. I always try to fit in my figure shaping clothes during these occasions so what I do is that, I prepare myself atleast 5 days before the set date.

Five-day diet? Sounds strange and impossible, isn't it? But it absolutely works for me! Remember that this program will not turn you into a supermodel. It will only help you in losing a few centimeters particularly around your waistline and a few kilos (I usually lose 2 to 3 kilos in five days). The good thing is that, you will not carry with you the heavy feeling during the entire celebration making you feel and look more confident than ever!

List of what I do during the five-day program:
  • I NEVER deprive myself from eating what I want to eat (unless ofcourse, I cannot afford it!) as it will make me feel mentally sick and will surely stress me out. So what I do is I eat in moderation atleast 5 days before the event. For example, I eat 2 slices of pizza once or twice a week. I decrease my intake to just a slice of it. As I am from Asia, I definitely love rice and I can usually consume a cup or two per meal. I then decrease it to just half a cup per meal. Got the idea? - Then just apply the concept to your original eating habits.

  • As much as possible, I avoid drinking softdrinks. If you are really addicted to it and feel like the world will end without it, then drink a small amount to only satisfy your tastebuds.

  • Instead of softdrinks (sodas), I take in a glass of juice rich in Vitamin C such as orange juice, calamansi juice, lemon juice, mango juice, etc. As it is acidic in nature, it helps in decreasing the digestion of the food.

  • I avoid drinking cold water. During this program, I take in lukewarm water (or as hot/warm as I can possibly take) everytime I feel thirsty. Sounds gross and nasty but it surely helps!

  • I try not to eat anything else after eating lunch aside from apples, bananas, oatmeal and some crackers (not salted). These types of food keep me full for the rest of the day until I go to bed without introducing cholesterol and fat into my body. If in any instance I feel hungry after some hours, I just eat fruits to satisfy my hunger.

Extra reminders:

  • If you have any time to do atleast a 30-minute exercise per day, do it (threadmill and crosstrainer work best for me).

  • Drink supplementary vitamins and minerals to nourish your body and keep it healthy.

  • For those suffering from diabetes, hypertension and other ailments, always consult your physician before undergoing any particular diet programs.
